New Stuff!

Wub A Lub A Dub Dub!
Rick and Morty Cookie Cutters!
This show is absolutely amazing, and if you haven't seen it, you are doing yourself a tremendous disservice.  Go watch it!  The first two seasons are on itunes, and I'm sure if you've still got a cord connected to your house, you can probably watch it on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
Deathly Hallows
The Deathly Hallows Symbol
I'm honestly surprised it took me this long to think to make this!  It's a very easy cutter to use, and the shape comes out great!  Great addition to any Harry Potter themed party or get-together.PS4
PS4 Controller!
This is another one that I should have done AGES ago!  It's the controller for the Sony Playstation 4.  I've had the PS3 controller forever, and it's been a long-time popular cutter.  So making one for the PS4 just makes sense.
XBox One
Xbox One Controller
Another obvious one that took me way too long to finally get made.  It's the controller for the Xbox One!  Zelda Majora's Mask
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
This one came as a request for a friend who, apparently, considers Majora's Mask one of the best Zelda games.  I must confess i never finished it myself - college was all consuming way back when this game came out (yes, I'm old), and I just never got into it.  Now that it's on 3DS, I've gotta find the time to give it another crack.
Doctor Who Missy
Doctor Who's Missy!
Whether it be the Master or Mistress, you've gotta love this character.  Missy, from Doctor Who, has played a significant role in Series 8 and 9 (Hilariously in 9, I would say), finally gets her own cookie cutter.  The latest in a LOOONG string of Doctor Who themed cookie cutters on the site.
Five Nights at Freddy's
Five Nights at Freddy's!
My son is ridiculously obsessed with these games.  The funny thing is that he's too spooked to play it himself, but he loves watching YouTuber's play it and get scared for him.
Anyway, the love for the crazy animatronics horror game went on long enough that I decided that I just had to make cutters for it, so here they are!  I've also got a cutter for Puppet in the shop as well.

Back up and running again!

Hey all - the shop is back up and running, so orders can resume.  Turn-Around will probably be 7-9 working days before orders are shipped.

Remember, if you need an order by a specific date, I can't make any guarantees, but your chances are improved if you leave a comment in the Notes section during check-out.

Shop on Pause

I've got to go out of town in a week, so I've put the shop on pause.  I'm gonna work on getting all of the current orders out so that there's nothing waiting for while I'm gone.  When I come back in town, I'll turn the shop back on and get things rolling again.

New Clock Design

I've got a new Doctor Who clock design I'm working on!  Got the etching, cutting, and sanding done at this point.  Next I'll be applying stain, then I'll do a finish pass before putting in the clock parts.

Getting in doctors 1-12 on the main face made me sad that I couldn't really fit the War Doctor in there anyway, so I snuck an easter egg on the back of War Doc and BadWolf-girl/Rose.

Upcoming Delay

I just wanted to put out a notice, that I'm going to be attending PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in Seattle, the last weekend of August / First of September, so I'll be out of town for about 5 days in total.

This will mean a delay in shipments and will likely result in a bit of a backlog.  Take this into consideration if you're ordering for a specific event, as I won't be able to meet any rush requests.

Two new cookie cutters, and a fancy new Doctor Who box!

I've just put up two new cookie cutter designs.  Both were requests.  One, for a 'Cute Alpaca' sort of cutter, and I worked this up -

And the other was for the character Zacora from My Little Pony!  I thought that was a cool idea, as I really like Zacora, so I decided to get her done one day, when I actually happened to have a bit of time to work on it.  I've also been asked to do Cheese Sandwich (the Weird Al pony) and to do Trixie, so they're on my 'to do' list as well, but things are super-busy right now, so it might be a while till I get to them.

So those are the new cutters, I've gotten up!
The fancier item I've just added, however, is this!

It's a laser-engraved, multi-layered wooden box that I designed and finally got nailed now over the last few weeks.  It's based on The Moment from the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special.

It's stained two different colors for the two layers, and then poly'd to 5 coats to get it to a nice smooth shine.  Felt is glued to the inside lining.  This thing has turned out beautiful.  I've made two so far and I've got the process down pretty well, so I estimate a 5-day build-time on these for anyone interested.

I've also really improved my finishing technique, so the clocks come out a lot shinier now than they used to.

I've updated the photos of some of the clocks on the site, to show that.

Eek! Titans are coming!

Well, I was all caught up on Attack on Titan (even with the manga and the chibi episodes) and whimpering for my next titan fix when my hubby remarked on how funny it would be to see the kids eating the chibi characters like the colossal titan does every single episode.  So I had to make it happen :P

Attack on Titan cookie cutters!  These are all the characters I've bothered with at this point, but if there's actual interest, I could probably do more.  Armin, Mikasa, and Eren up top, then Jean, Levi, and Sasha below.

There's also a set with just Armin, Mikasa, and Eren available here.

Woo, bit of a delay!

Hey all - to anyone who's placed any orders over the last couple days, I just wanted to let you know there's going to be a bit of a delay!

I've been working on some custom designs for someone, and he just placed an order for 300 cutters, so all ten of my printers are busy printing that order.  At an hour and a half per cutter, it's going to be a couple more days before I've got them all done and can get back on track with the regular orders.

Working on a desk-sized Moment Prop

I've been working on this project over the last week, off-and-on, and I'm really enthused about it.  Today is the 4th of July and we've got house guests, so I haven't been able to do much with this little guy the last couple days, but I'm going to be resuming work on the finishing process tomorrow, so I'll be back with more pictures then!

This is a 5.5in square cube cut and etched with my laser cutter, and then stained, blued, and I've started finishing it (I've got 2 coats of poly on it right now, but I plan to go to 4 or 5 coats before it's done.)

And it's the Moment!  The Gallifreyan weapon of mass destruction that gained consciousness and can judge you for considering using it.  :P

The Weapon that destroyed the Time Lord race (or did it?) and ended the Time War!

Testing out to make sure the inner bits would fit properly inside the outer bits, and trying to get a feel for how it would look.

Assembled the inner cube to make sure all the pieces fit properly - took some fiddling to get it right.

Just some shots of the different sides.  All 6 sides of the inner cube are unique, and accurate to the movie prop.

Nothing is glued together yet at this point - just notched into position so I can look at it.  hah.

I sanded the outer edges of the border cube, so they wouldn't contrast quite so much with the rest of the wood.

Now it's been glued together and stained!  I decided to do the inner cube and outer cubes separate up through the 2nd coat of poly.

Since the smaller cube has to go inside the larger cube, I did the staining and poly with two of the sides still off.  Once I've got the first two poly coats done, I'll slide the inner cube inside and glue those two sides into place.  Then apply another poly coat over the whole thing together.  This way I can sand the inner cube properly for the first two coats, which are the most important for a really smooth, glossy finish.

Not done yet here (not glued and still only the first two coats of poly).  I just slid it all together for another peak and to make sure the poly on the inner cube wasn't making it too thick/snug to fit inside the outer cube (still fine).

I'll update with more when I get a bit more work done on it!  Woo.

Reading Rainbow Kickstarter

The Reading Rainbow kickstarter broke 5mil with less than a day to go before closing down! To celebrate this amazing achievement, and to honor a show that will always bring warm fuzzies of nostalgia to my heart, I made a Reading Rainbow cookie cutter set.
